I woke up this morning, and the clock showed it was 4am, so I decided to go back to sleep. I was using the scissors to clip your fur. You were facing the TV/entertainment center, not making eye-contact with me throughout the entire visit, and I was sitting to the left of you, and snipping locks of your fur on your front right shoulder. In the back of my mind, I did this with the intent of keeping this keepsake since you would be gone soon. You went to the kitchen while I sat there, and then you faced me from where our room divider was… still not making eye contact. It was then when I became completely lucid and aware enough to question myself, asking… “is this a visit? or just a dream? I know you’ll be gone soon.” Then I woke up to find it was only 4:15am, but feeling completely at peace. Thank you for visiting me. I have no idea why I was clipping your fur the way I clipped it with scissors when transferring you to the memorial/cremation site.

Then I got up around 6am to start my morning routine, and felt your presence at your “treat-zone” spot in front of your kitchen gate. I miss you, bear.
